Calling, Caring, Consolation, Compassion for the Family of God
Hospital Visitation: The clergy of Saint Alban’s visit the sick that are known to us in area hospitals. It is very important for our members to indicate their church preference upon admission to the hospital and to call to let us know about hospitalization.
Ministry to the Bereaved: Our clergy are on call to care, comfort, offer consolation and compassion to the dying and their families. They also are available for assistance with funerals.
Eucharistic Visitors: Eucharist Visitors exercise an important ministry in the life of our congregation. Eucharistic visitors take the communion to those members of the community that are unable to attend church because of health or mobility problems.
Intercessory Prayer Team: A group of parishioners pray daily for those who request prayers.
Saint Alban’s Samaritans: Volunteers provide meals for families facing crises or loss. They also offer transportation to church events for those who need assistance.
Card Ministry team sends notes of prayer and support to individuals that might need a word of encouragement and love.
Knitters Ministry provides knitted prayer shawls for people who are in long term or critical care.
